I have fun doing a lot of things: character design, comic book formats, storyboards, concept art, portraits, and many, many other things. But the thing I have most fun doing is to dream a while about the world I create in my mind, and visualize the most impressive figure I see in that world. So let me know what you dream of. Who knows? I was born in Seoul, Korea, where academically competitive kids and their mothers live. When I was little, like every other boy of that age, I was ambitious and dreaming of literally everything. But the only thing that ever really drew my attention was art. I know, another corny wannabe artistic story. Well, seriously, I did draw a lot. Thanks to my friend, who is still one of the best friends, who drew a lot better than me and always brought out my competitive self. That was the start: just to prove to him that I could draw better. But after a while, I became serious about art, and who would have thought, I decided to take it for life. And 14 years later, I’m living a great life with that.
